You can ground the wire out. There are instructions somewhere on how to do it but I forget on what website. If you do a search you should find your answer.
You will lose the reverse light function though.
A cdi will do it but it will cost you. Ripper racing and others make modules for 20+ dollars that remove the limiter and retain the function of the light. But I am not one to spend money when I dont have to.

Go to www.sandwizards.com, they have the instructions under the Raptor tricks and tips. I followed these instructions and it works great. The only thing is, you lose your reverse light. There is no real need for it anyway.

i got it ....under the front sproket there is one wire that is pluged in ...its a bitch to pull off butt once i got it out i got copper wire and put it in the plug and wired it to a bolt on the frame and it works great
