Bad squeak
#1
I have a loud squeak in the back area of my quad, its coming from the swing arm or shock area. Anyone have any ideas? I have greased all the fittings too, I don't want to take it in the shop for this.

The squeak is probably your swingarm pivot, since the factory tends to leave bearings with the least amount of grease possible. Remember to use red bearing grease and not the lithium. You should probably get the thick book on assembling the quad before taking apart the swingarm so you know what to torque the bolts to afterwards. You will probably only need to take off the tires, rear shock, and brake caliper. After that you should be able to remove the swingarm bolt and fix the problem. Usually you have to grease a sleeve or bushing of some sort too, so the book is highly recommended. You will need to put the red grease on the shock bolts where the shock actually rubs too, more than likely. Never go to the dealership, just a rip off.
If you push down the rear end and it's a loud squeak, that's your prob. If it's only when it rolls back and forth, it's just grit in the brake or dirty chain.
