Default White Brothers pipes.

Guys i have a White Bros. pipe, these pipes are for low range power correct? Well i was thinking.. I have a White Bros. pipe jets and a filter on my stock raptor and my friend has a yoshimura pipe jets and filter on his.. Now on long travel races his quad ends up about 20-30 feet further than mine. (im talking about top end racing) So the other day i was thinking.. If i remove my spark arrestor on my pipe(the metal piece at the end of the discs, and i take the airbox lid off when the air is clean, and i run it top end will i get more power like that or with the spark arrestor in? Will running it with the spark arrestor out damage the quad at all? Did anyone ever do this?

I think u gain like 2 ponies, not really noticeable. But it will make it a little louder too.

Not at all. the spark arrester is not really required, you only need it in certain places like forest etc. Some exhaust systems don't even include one. But it won't hurt ur power any where at all, as I said you may gain about 2hp.

Well the discs are the ones that keep the noise level down, so i suggest u leave them on, my buddy is also running the WB pipe and has all the discs on with no spark arrester.
