Default Age and speed

I am looking to buy a 1998 warrior and i need to know. Does age put that much of a toll on speed? If so, how much speed would a 1998 warrior lose compared to it when it was new?

First of all welcome to the forums second of all The 2003 and up models include an additional gear (6 gears) compared to the earlier models just one gear of a difference but age of a warrior does not affect speed unless its a messed up motor vs a new one but thats obvious. So dont worry about getting a 98 warrior its as good as any year and will last you a life time trust me.

Yes it increases Top speed but not by mutch. Buying a 04 or an 03 warrio is like buying a 95 96 97....etc. Only minor changes between the years but any year is fine.

No just the new models 03 and up are six speed and have brake light. Below those years are mostly the same without those features.

So they can have an excuse when people say that they got lazy updating the warrior.
