What kind of riding are you looking to boost performance in? Drag racers like to go with longer duration, but milder lobe heights and even a slight retarding of timing for enhanced high RPM power. On the flip side, the guys going for torque and low RPM umph shoot for standard timing and higher lobe heights to shove more into and out of the cylinder. Of course, not much will be gained without a good flow tested port job to allow the cam to really come on. Don't forget to consider valve springs too. Sorry for being long winded. Good luck.

Depends which web cam you had, web cam has serveral cams, one of which is suposed to be better than the stage 2 hotcam. It also depends where u plan to make power.

I have only seen 2 webcams availible for the raptor. The all around and the full race. Both require new valve springs and the specs on both are more aggressive than the stage 2 hotcam.

Don't rule out the Poweroll custom cam. They literally put a lot of science and engineering into their cam application unique to the customer's individual atv.

What is the grind numer on the Web cam? They make like 5 different grinds not including custom jobs. There are considerable differences between them. Just compare the Specs. The Stage 2 Hotcam is a pretty big camshaft and requires spring changes(stronger stiffer).I reccomend changing them no matter what cam is intallled. All the cam companys will reccomend spring changes with most of thier cams.
