how often do you other banshee owners rebuild your engine. i'm getting one tommorow and it has a fresh top end with weisco piston and cool head

i was just wondering how often you guys have to do this?

Depends how much how much you use it.... I got 3 1/2 years out of mine.... guess that means we've been neglecting it [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]....

Edit: oh yea we bought it used in 01' that means it was 6 1/2 years before rebuild [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] but i have no idea how long & hard the previous owner rode it for

 

I've gotten 4 years outta a few stockers but on our drag bikes we go once a year or so.Use good oil like Castor 927 or Klotz and you'll have a dependable ride.You're not far from me,I'm in NE Texas.

 

Every 100-120 hours.

 

thanks for the info guys it has a fresh rebuild and the previous owner used yamalube for the mix and ran it 32.1

i guess i will stick with the same mix
