When I had semi-bald tires, with like 40% tread left I could put all my weight up front over the gas tank and punch it and it would spin out on the pavement, on dirt all you need to do is punch it, as long as your quad has the power.

Hey Cab, are you talking about the wolverine you have in your sig? If it is a wolverine, it's full time 4wd(unless you've got the unlocker kit) and it will be very hard if not impossible to do. Since the front wheels are connected to the rears, if you hold the fronts and nail it, you're actually holding the rears also, which doesn't help too much. I suppose if you were on loose dirt, or sand you could peel out briefly if your tires don't bite, but smoke shows are definately out of the question.

If you do have the unlocker kit, then in 2wd you can hold the front brakes and nail it and probably get a peel out going how these guys are telling you to. Just realize that depending upon traction and tire size, you will not be able to peel out as well as the sport quads everyone is talking about. I'm not knocking your quad, just pointing out that these other examples all have manual clutches(easier to get it started) and different power curves/more power.

Hope this helps.
Good Luck!!
