Default Upgrading Blasters Stock Suspension!

Would the banshee front shocks just be a "bolt on" job or is there modding involved with that too?

Whats the best set of shocks i can put on a yamaha blaster or what name brand should i be looking into? If you have a link please post it. Thanks

Everything I have read says Elka shocks are the best. Other options Works, Axis and Pep. All these are pricey though. I am mechanically stupid and the rear shock mod to me is the best option. It took me about an hour to complete a KFX400 rear shock mod. You can read about installing one of the rear shock I listed at blasterhq.com

The banshee front shocks are a direct bolt-on. You can find new are slightly used shocks on ebay. So I would not worry about concerned about using any of the shock I listed.

I searched blasterhq.com for info on KFX400 Rear Shock Steps and couldent find anything...everyone there seems to be into the 400ex Rear shock MOD. The only thing i dont like about the 400EX mod is the airbox problem...and running without an airbox lid. If you have a link to the KFX400 Intructions let me know.

The KFX400, 400ex and z400 are the same shock. The steps will be the same.

I would start with the rear first.
