Offset Wheels or Extended A-Arms??
Anything past the centreline of the spindle (to the outside) causes bumpsteer if you hit anything hard and also puts more stress on the bearings, spindle tie rods etc.Basically offset rims or wheelspacers allow the front tires to apply more leverage on the handlebars instead of the other way around. This is ok for flat track or TT racing but if your MXing or trail riding where you may hit rocks etc, it can bend or break your front end parts and the handlebars can be ripped out of your hands if you hit something. The extended a-arms don't change the relationship of the leverage between the wheels and the handlebars from stock.Basically the bike is just like stock but is now wider so it will be more stable.Too bad the a-arms are so expensive but its the best way to widen out your bike. If your just riding in sand though you can probably get away with the spacers or offset rims.
