Just look in your manual it will tell you what you need to run. I run regular 87 octane per my manual in my Warrior. Read and UNDERSTAND when you read an octane rating what they are talking about. There is research octane and the octane rating we have on the pumps (R+M/2). Research octane is a higher number. Motor octane is a low number. Adding those together, and dividing in 2 (averaging) gives you the pump octane number. IIRC it's called Road Octane. My manual lists 91 research and either 86 or 87 pump octane (can't remember exactly). A 91 octane (R+M/2) will be cleaner burning, but slower burning fuel. That means it will burn cleaner, leave less deposits, but will produce slightly less power as the flame front is burning slower. Slower flame fronts are required for high compression motors.
