Default Quick eBay item question.

I have a DG front bumper on my YFZ and it is bending and getting scratched up very easily and I just don't like it very much. On eBay today I found a used AC front bumper (the one that I have been looking at to buy) for $39.00 shipped. The only problem is that the selled has no feedback and he just signed up today to sell things today. I talked to him via AIM and he said that he is opening up a ATV online business next week and that his sell is not a scam. I am still a little nervous thuogh, I have had trouble wit eBay before. I could buy a bumper for around $80.00 from an actual online shop on eBay and I would feel much safer with that but it would cost me more money. It would be nice though if this used bumper was a real sell. What would you guys do, I need some advice.

Well, first I would check to see if he is selling other items to verify his "online business" sale. Second, use paypal to to pay, and make sure to get a tracking # for your item. See if he belongs to any other forums, and if he does, talk to people there about him. Good luck. for $40, I would do it, it's not a whole lot of money to get burned on. I thin if someone was going to scam you, they would do it for more than $40!!

Thanks for the reply Raptorboy. The auction has five more days on it so I have a little while to think about it. And I know that lots of good people are out there selling stuff for the first time. It's just unfortunate that there are so many people out there trying to scam you too.
