turns out that my plug cap was the only bad part, took alot off messing around and finally setting the ohm meeter right(DUH). This was found after I borrowed a 2001 cdi and coil to see if it would start, which it didnt, and the 01 cdi blew up my starter relay. Then after all the testing I put my 02 cdi back on and then jumped the leads across the relay and it fired right up, then tested the relay and sure enough it was bad now!!!!!! I was told by Patsraptor that a 01 cdi would not work, I should have listened, but the guy I borrowed it from says his is a 2001 with a 2002 motor, and his runs fine, guess that has to do with the harness or something who knows. All I know is now I need a starter relay!!!
