The blaster is good for trail riding because it's so light and nimble you can chuck it around easy.

I would disagree, I ride with a kid that has a blaster, it dosn't do well on trails at all. It lacks the low end grunt to make it over certain parts and it dosn't have enough ground clearence for rocks and logs. It is quick and nimble, but for agressive trail riding i would suggest something else.

And I disagree with V.Raptor..

Blaster hold there own on trails..and as far as low end torque..are you only comparing that with your 350?..cause I own one also and the first two gears are doggish compared to a blaster properly jetted and piped..its third gear we 350's take over and put distance on them..but not by a whole lot...

We drag every now and then and both start in 2nd gear..when we are topping out in 3rd is where I pull away from him..

BUt it doesnt matter what you ride..just as long as you ride.

I ride with a 300ex, a Banshee, and a blaster. For example, i can pull 2nd gear from basically a stop and power up a hill, when i was riding the blaster i had to downshift halfway up the hill because it dropped out of its powerband. I will admit the blaster is fast off the line, but it just dosn't have the low end grunt for trails in my opinion.

Blaster is a much better trail machine than a 250ex/z250, unless you like putting along and cant ride a manual.
