Default A question and comment on Raptor 660.

First off my question is this, back in August I had a fairly bad crash were I had to replace the right a-arms, rims, and weld the frame where the bottom right a-arm mounts up. I have everything fixed now, new a-arms, rims, and so on. Though once it is complete, the wheel sits on more of an angle then the left side like (|) (\) just not that extreme, is there a way i could have bent where the a-arms and hub bolt to? The frame doesn't look tweaked or bent at all, everything lines up fine, the wheel doesn't wobble when drivining, all in all I am happy with it, just a friend pointed it out when we went riding today.

My comment is if anyone was wondering the result of my running a 15t front sprocket on my Raptor, that has just a pipe, filter, and jet kit, it is awesome, I haven't topped it out yet, because the roads are pretty icey where I am, but in no way does the stock engine struggle to turn it, just now when I raced my friend on his Z400, I can stay in 4th and pull away from him when it is tapped out. With your front end screwed up like that I'd be afraid to break 20mph. That could be very dangerous at high speeds.

If the a arms, wheel and hub are all new and you have installed and adjusted them properly than your frame is indeed bent.

I'll try and take pictures of it tomorrow to show you what the wheel is like. When I checked the frame over, before and after for many an hour, I couldn't find a bend, I measured distanced between the welded side, to the fine side, and so forth. Maybe pictures might help.

Thats what I was thinking. You can use your tie rod to adjust for that.

Getting help with fixing my quad out of my own stupidity is no where near similar to that thread, I'm not asking for money, I'm asking what people think the problem could be. Time to get your head out of your *** buddy!

shav0 and duke, it isn't that kind of alignment, it seems that one mounting bolt for the bottom a-arm slipped out some causing it to push out, the problem is fixed now.
