Hey all you banshee riders. Friend of mine has modded banshee,vito key,timing plate etc,ricky stator,toomeyetc. it runs on only one side till higher rpm then it starts to run the other side. any idea what we should look at??? I have no ideas on bashee as I ride LT250R but I thought i would try and help him. if you got ideas let me know so I can help him and we can go riding.

Maybee pilotjet needletube etc clogged up on carb?? Try cleaning carb. Check compression on that side? Look @ reeds on that side might be dumping so much fuel in its blowing out fire till higher R's. If its on left side could be stator going out or weak spark check cdi and stator. Plenty of things it could be on a banshee

How old is the engine? Thats how ours was running. My guess is that the rings were broken and as soon as the 1 cylinder started to heat up the other cylinder... We had to get a whole new top end which is totally normal... teh engine was 6yrs old

 

Seems like carb trouble on the side thats not running at low RPM's.....possible slide issue as well.
