Default help raptor vs banshee, which one??

air cooled like the banshee
a banshee is air cooled? gotta say....nope. it is water cooled. always has been. we've owned too many of these things since 1988.

as far as the dude's question on what to get between these TWO bikes, id say get the raptor. got a lot of torque but can rip as well. is fun in the sand and trails. has elec start, reverse. good all round bike but can be tippy though.

No they don't!! Quit sharing fake information, never heard of a raptor over heating easily. And if they do over heat, they are liqiud cooled, instead of air cooled like the banshee. I was riding my buddies banshee today and it feels to small, I didn't like the front suspension, It got me really tired, even though I was riding the stiff suspension of the YFZ.
did you not write this earlier, mr. yfz660r? this is what i was talking about.

Yeah, I know I posted that, and I feel stupid for not knowing, but what I posted is that I've never heard of water cooled, I heard of liquid cooled though, that's what I meant.

water cooled=liquid cooled. the terms are sometimes used synonomous around here.

I had heard that the Raptors ran wicked but the handling sucked. What's the truth about that? I'm curious...

yeah I heard that too about the handling. Call me old school but I'm hooked on 2 strokes..especially the banshee (I've allready owned 2 but couldn't afford to keep em). I went to look at it today, and they washed it. it doesn't look as bad now but I think I would bring it in my workshop and strip it, repaint the frame, add a-arms, shocks and a wider axle, and give er a new top end. I know that they are more maintenance but alot more fun. Besides I found out it has a boost bottle and v-force reeds as well as toomey pipes. Dealer can't move these two strokes anymore way up here in the north so he is just looking to get rid of it.
