help raptor vs banshee, which one??

Sounds like a good deal to me. Make sure that no engine work needs to be done to the Banshee, I just bought a 99, and once I took the head off, it was not a pretty sight... It's going to cost me around 700 dollars to fix...
This is definately a tough decision though, I got my Banshee because is was a really good deal, raptors are generally more expensive when buying a used quad. I also have an XR 250 dirt bike, so I'm pretty familiar with four strokes. I can't say that I wouldn't have bought a raptor if the price was right. But I also would have been a little biased since I already have a four stroke dirt bike. But now I have a Banshee I have no regrets. It's going to be a blast when I get it out of the shop.

YFZ660R, THANK YOU!!! I'm very glad to hear that! I had heard they had issues with turning but I'm glad to hear that was just a rumor. You (owning one) would be a much better resource than the guy I heard it from. I've always thought they looked fun but that kept me away. I appreciate the info!

Buying the 03 banshee, need a winter project anyway. Figure I'm gonna try to get it in my basement as I don't usually keep the garage heated all winter (wood/oil takes forever to get warm). If i take off the front a-arms, rear axle and nerfs and swingarm and bars, will it fit with no plastics? Don't see why not

yeah, it won't be any wider than a street bike, but no tires to roll it in. maybe if I lay some 2x4 down and slide it down the stairs. Gonna have more of a problem getting it back out though. Maybe I'll just do it in the garage after all. Give me somewhere to go when I'm in the doghouse with the wife!
