Default YFZ450 pipes?

Will a full system make that much differance compared to a slip-on? Could you buy a slip-on, then later buy the header? If I'm not going to the dunes till summer, do I need the K&N? Will the filter give me more HP? so many questions I wish I had the time so cruise this forum! Just trying to get as much info as fast as possible! You guys have been great, thanks for all the good info! You sure make a newbie feel welcome and not like a retard! Thanks!

I am sure that the full system is better... how much is the question. Probably not enough where you could really tell the difference. In other words you would prolly be fine with a slip on. As far as a filter, the K&N will help your engine breath better and getting air in and out of your engine as easy as possible, along with proper air fuel mixture is the goal. I personally wouldn't use a k&n while riding in the sand, and if you must, put on an outerwear. I run a Uni foam filter, they may not breath as well, but I feel they filter better. IMO
