check this out for all your gear and tire combos

i personaly like the 12 tooth on the front,i had to go 44 on rear when i got my new tires cause there 2inchs taller than stock.

I think he meant you wont have a good holeshot...you know, not taking off as fast at the beggining of the race...I think thats what he meant.

If you go with a 14 tooth on your primary . and your engine is stock it will bog and be hard to get rolling . Not impossible just harder
taller your gearing there more you will slip your clutch discs to get engagement . go pick up a set of wr 426 clutch spings that will help some

Chancing sprockets is incredibly easy, I use a 15/40 combo on my raptor and love it, and a raptor that has the same stock engine, but full system pipe, and 12/40 gearing can only take me right off the start, when he is in third im only in second passing him, all in all he only takes me for about 3 feet. That and it is an even match, I'll never go anything smaller then a 13/40 set up :/

You have take off the case saver, take off the big nut, put the new sprocket on, loosen up the chain so you can slip it over the sprocket and tighten everything down. Be careful not to overtighten the big nut because it will strip it, dont ask how I know
