Default Rappy 660 trailer hitch?

Anyone know if someone is making one?

I've found so far hitches available for the following sport machines,

Warrior, 400ex, Z400,

If anyone knows of one for the Raptor please chime in.

First off.. WHY?

Second.. How much weight?

Third.. Your clutch will blow out in a second!!!!!

Fabricate one yourself if you want to do a lot of engine damage!!

A small hitch would blow the engine?

That's a new one. We are talking a SMALL hitch not a freaking utiliy hitch that's going to tow 1500lbs. We are talking a 150/250 rated hitch.

I have a hitch on my Warrior and it's done nothing to the clutch, works just fine and I pull a 250-pound mower deck.

The engine and tranny don't know the difference between a 150lbs rider and a 150lbs tow weight and a 300lbs rider with no hitch weight. It's still the same 300lbs either way.

OK bud.. your right i was thinking you were towing a boat or somthing.. my friend tied his 20 foot aquasport into his backyard with his quad and messed it up.. as long as total weight that your pulling is under 300 lbs and you dont jerk it around. As far as i know .. no aftermarket companies make a hitch for a raptor. I was thinking of making a little one for a wheelbarrow mount but i dont want to mess up my clutch. You can bolt a piece of steel to the swing-arm bolts with a hitch on that. use steel and steel bolts!!!

Raptorboy,

Yea, small hitch..LOL I can see why you were worried if you thought I was gonna try and tow a boat....

The only thing I did to my Warrior was put a 13tooth front sprocket back on, it had a 15 when I bought it and it was a big strain on the clutch to get moving with that big sprocket. Since I put the stock size back (13 is stock for a Warrior) I can crawl around the yard with the mower on and I hardly even notice it's on there. Only time I feel it is if one of the wheels on the deck hits a rock or hole and tugs harder on the quad. I even have a pretty steep hill in my yard but the old Warrior burps right up, it has just enough torque.

I imagine with all the torque on a Raptor you wouldn't even know you had a 250 pound mower deck behind you at all.

I know in Rocky Mountain ATV they list a hitch for a 400ex and a Z400, I wonder if a Raptor one is not too far behind. Or I wonder if one of those could be slightly modified to do the job?

Dunno, but I've talked to quite a few people with Raptors who wouldn't mind a little hitch to tow a light load with.
