Anybody done any trading on ebay? Good?????,,,,Bad????

 

What do you mean by trading? Trading fourwheelers or other stuff?

 

We bought our banshee from ebay. The trade was flawless! But you have to be really careful, each day there are more scum-bags that try to scam you.

 

Check the sellers feedback, especially if it is an expensive item. I have bought and sold many things off ebay and have been pleased with most transaction but not every one. Make sure you ask the seller any possible question you can think of so you don't get any surprises when you receive something.

 

I have bought a raptor head, valve cover, tie rods, soon to be hotcams and springs, also have bought graphics kits.... I only buy from people with

1) Awesome Feedback 99.9% or higher
2) Ebay Stores with 95% or higher feedback
3) Power Sellers
4) Over 500 transactions (might not be a powerseller though)
5) Paypal payment types

I have never been messed over and im very careful with ebay. I love it!

Just bought a blaster engine from ebay, called the lady who sold it to us and she said she heard it runs, so I hope it does.

 

use a credit card when paying though paypal. once i was sent a mismatched set of extended a arms for my raptor i wasnt happy and my credit card took care of it. i got my money back and my credit card has seen more use ever since. other that time ive been selling and buying items with no problems.

 

I buy and sell on ebay quite a bit.

If you see something expensive that you want to buy, e-mail the buyer asking them for a phone # to go over the transaction before you make a bid.
If they don't want to talk with you on the phone they aren't on the up and up.

Also always through PayPal and you will be protected......

 

yeah like mike said get a phone number and talk to them verify there number and name on the net. never buy from overseas.and if you are going to buy a quad ebay offers you an escrow service that protects the buyer. you send ebay the cash, ebay tells the buyer they are holding the funds and when they ship the bike you inspect the bike and if everthing checks out you tell ebay to release the funds.
