Default 05, 400 kodiak or an 05, 360 praire

Hey..thought I'd just share my experience I had with the P-360. When we bought our 2003 P 650 I also bought a P360 for my wife. It s a great machine if you dont care about power, vibration, and bolts coming loose. after two months I trading it in with 100 miles on for a vinson 500 5 spd. and absoluley just love the vinson. However I now find out my wife should have an automatic trans, so I probably will be selling her V 500. I was disappointed with kaw that they would put out a quad with that much vibration, they should take a engine lesson from suzuki vinson's smooth unbelievable product. I love the prairie 650 even thought its a pain in the A** to be maintaining the clutching/cleaning/adjusting on it. the end result was the P360 is underpowered, vibrates woorse than the old harleys, and is a POS..( not ment to flame anyone with one) that was my experience..Textjust love the Vinson Suggest going with a Suzuki eiger..

I have both a prairie and kodiak. In the CC range you're looking in, it depends what you want. The kodiak has a better belt drive system, is much more comfortable riding, softer seat, and is much lighter feeling/more manuverable. On the other hand, the prairie has a better braking system, easier to use diff lock, and is easier to maintain (no hard to reach grease zerks etc). Overall I'd recommend a 2005 kod 450. The p360 is just too big for that little engine.
