Unless you have MAJOR engine mods, don't get anything bigger than 25" tires.

If you put 28" tires on, and get in the mud, you will just sit there, tires won't turn.

Go with 25" Mudlites, 25x8-12 front, 25x10-12 rear. They fit the stock rims fine, are at least 3 lbs. lighter than any other mud tire out there, work great in mud and also ride smooth on hard pack.
I've got them on my '03 and love 'em!

I really dont want to change the stock rims and the biggest on the front are the 25's so im thinking of getting 2 26's on the back but im not sure if i will need anything. Or will 26's fit right on the back rims and i can just put them on the atv.

Stick with the 25" tires on the Wolverine. You won't be able to spin 26" tires worth a crap in mud. DO NOT mix different size tires, stick with either all 4 23" or all 4 25".
You can believe what you want, what you hear, or somebody that owns one. It's your choice.
