Yes. You can get a EGT guage, (exhaust gas temp guage.)
A EGT guage works on utilizing the exhaust to tell you if your mixed lean, or rich. A small sensor has to be installed into your exhaust pipe header by drilling a hole and then inserting this sensor. It also comes with a plug that you can put in there when your not using the sensor. Your Exhaust should be within a certian temp range at each throttle opening.
1/8 Throttle _____750 - 850 Degrees F.
1/4 Throttle _____850 - 950 Degrees F.
1/2 Throttle _____950 - 1050 Degrees F.
3/4 Throttle _____1050 - 1100 Degrees F.
Full Throttle _____1100 - 1200 Degrees F.

Hope this helps

I have never seen those. I've used a EGT guage many times. Its accurate and reduces alot of the triap and error crap associated with jetting. And as the tempature, altidude, and humidty changes you can see it and make the right changes before it causes problems. But there isn't anything wrong with good ol' plug checks, it just takes a while.
