From what i can tell, that depends on your mix and what oil you run. Always keep a plug just in case.

The blaster and 350 are about the same off the line, on the top end it will pull away. I personally like 4 strokes more then 2 strokes, alot less headaches, no need to premix gas/oil, etc. If your into trail riding i would suggest you get the 350, it has a better suspension and more low end torque to get up hills and such.

how does a 4 stroke have alot less headaches. i personally like 2 strokes for maintainence and engien work, alot less stuff to deal with. and on a blaster, you dont have to premix the oil. it has its own fuel injection system.

The blaster dosn't need premix, but I hear where your coming from.
Your only going to foul plugs if your mix is off or your jetting is rich. If everythings right you shouldn't ever foul a plug.

Lol. I agree. Everyone always goes on about 2 strokes being alot of maintance. I rode my blaster to the death for 3 years (stock) and never did a thing to it. I did the regular stuff like oil change and filter cleaning. But motor wise, never touched it.

Well i say premix because of what i heard about the oil injection system going bad and burning up the motor.

Blasters have been produced by the hundreds each year sence the late 80's.
How many have ever gone bad due to the oil injection system? I must admit Yamaha made a stupid mistake making the gear plastic.
