my buddy is cuttin me a deal since he hates Yamaha so much. I may be buying his 1997 Banshee off him for $1300. Only has roughly 100 miles on it. Engine rebuilt last month.It's set up for racing. Says he'd rather have a Suzuki RM 250 dirt bike.(can't blame him there though =) How much difference in ride is it from this and my 86 Suzuki Quadracer 250??

 

oh, almost forgot. new tires, new plastic, and every bearing and seal was replaced. If this deal goes through, I'll have a 86 Suzuki Quadracer 250 AND a 97 Yamaha Banshee for $400 and some change less than a brand new blaster!!

 

if its a 97 and has new plastic seals and bearings already then this quad was beat down.
make sure the frame is straight. even if you hate yamaha a banshee will make you like it a little. if this bike is legit its a super deal.
the ride is twice as plush and the power is rockin compared to the lt

 

it is. he showed me the DNR trail registration paperwork. it looks brand new, runs good. but I don't know much about the banshee in particular. i don't hate yamaha, despite numerous let-downs in the past. He hates them, but he's got the bucks to not care. Lucky ^%^%$ lol.
