Question for the snowmobilers.
Not engine wise but while your lookin under the hood check the belt if its been sitting for a while changin the belt could prevent her from getting stuck in a snow storm out in the woods or on the road. Also check the carbides/ wear rods in the skis cause if they snap they did into the ground like kleets and it is stuck where it is untill you take them out or put new ones in and if you take them out it has no steering. The gas lines are definatly a good thing to replace. I started up my prowler which is only a '91 over thanksgiving while it was warm out and one of the hoses was cracked and it was spewin gass all over the place so i replaced all the lines. In the cold weather all that stuff is even more brittle then it is now. Cold weather does a number on anything plyable like rubber. one last thing could check the brakes, dont have to have them but if they just need an ajustment a good thing to have for those "oh SHlT moments.

Go to www.SnowmobileForum.com and ask your question there in the Yamaha section, they should be able to help you out there.
