HELP !!!! How to remove Pro Flow cage ...
#3
No, its the foam filter. There is the foam filter that is permanently attached to the gasket and then they slipped a "cage" into both of the intake ports to support the foam filter. This seems kinda stupid but I assume they do this so you dont have to worry about how the foam filter seals up against the gasket. Is this a new design or what ... its seems nearly impossible to pull the cages back out once they are in there !!!

they will come out it just takes some force
also if its brand new a lil wd40 or somethin like that will help
just push from the bottom while spreading the rubber out with your thumbs
i use bel ray filter oil
it is very sticky more so than any spray i have used

Make sure the inside rim is coated with a light coat of oil...set the filter on the ground and slowly work the cage out of the hole by pushing the rim down around the cage...do one at a tme...i do it all the time...then make sure you have a coat of oil on the rim before you put the cages back in...the oil really helps it slip in and out alot
