Keep in mind, the person on the blaster may not have been the suicial sped-freak the blaster rider is/was.
I've gotten around 55 on my blaster, stock. A dirt road, late at night...not my smartest move... hit a nice series of bumps at top speed. All I remember, is looking at the ground, waiting to land and praying that the impromptu runway was smooth.
Thank ghod it was, I pulled over and let the rush fade as my friends caught up.

Now anyone know a good way to decide if the toe-in is off, or I succeeded in bending an a-arm/shock?

I only have to say one thing. Why would you spend $800 on a 265 kit or 240 when you can put an entirly new motor in like a CR 500 motor. I could put a 500 motor in and put on better brakes all for under $800 and still beat all those kits and a Banshee.

All I got to say is anytime anywhere because I don't see a Blaster beating a Mojove so I know it can't hang with a Banshee.

I have a 2001 blaster with a CT240 kit ported and polished. +6" swingarm, +2" lonestar rear, +2" a arms. I will put it up against any stock shee and win. Shee's are not all everyone makes them up to be. I run 92 octane pump gas and Klotz oil. I have raced many many shee's and won. On the sand is a different story, but lets get on an open road and you'll be seeing my exhaust. Never under estimate the power of a well build 2 stroke.

I believe a 240 Blaster could take a STOCK Banshee in a drag. Not by much, but a little. Maybe 1/2 to 1 bike. I don't think it could take a modded Banshee though. Some of you need to think about this. A 240 Blaster is a full blown race engine. Take a Banshee, put a 410 kit in it, and you tell me how much faster it just got.

Dude, relax. We all know that a Banshee is way faster than a Blaster, but they are talking about the 240 kit which basically turns the blaster into a different quad. And i wouldn't want that kind of speed unlesss you did suspension mods, for all that i would just get a Banshee. Some kid told me his Mojave could do 65mph!! I don't know what gets more blown up, Largemouth Bass sizes for older folks or quad top speeds for anyone under 16!
