70 mph+ Blaster????

I was wondering where My banshee motor went
Just Kidding.... For real though, It seems it would take alot of work to get a blaster to pull those kinds of speeds even with drastic gear changes. I have a 240 kit in my other machine(blaster), and not to stir an argument. But it still does not beat a banshee. It Might be a bit easier to manage in a tight trail situation. In a strait line...forget about it.

You are trying to tell me you can beat a stock Banshee with a 240 Blaster? HA HA HA!!! Man quit your dreaming! If you are going to beat a Banshee you need to move up to the big boy toy's not a Blaster. I don't care what you do to a Blaster you are not going to outrun a Banshee. In a drag race I can outrun a Blaster with my Banshee and never have to go past 4th gear and I beat the Blaster bad and I still have two gears to go. A Blaster has a top speed around 55mph and a Banshee around 75mph. Do the math! Banshee wins everytime!! You have to be joking!

I can be of some help here! A friend of mine races blasters. He has two blasters and three motors. One motor is nearly stock, and the other two motors are built Cryo-coat motors. They were built by Schmalenberg Racing and Swain Tech Coating. Both machines a capable of low 60's. With some sprocket changing and normal ratio tires, 70 mph would not be a problem. Both of his machines are easily the fastest blasters in Minnesota. You can visit Swain Technologies web site to see for yourself. The guy who owns and races the blasters is a friend of mine and lives just a few minutes from me.
