ATV Cover Good Fore Trailering?
#2
Been there, done that pal...dont' bother with this one! Got it for trailering the banshee, and it ended up doing more damage than good. Even strapped down, it comes loose in the wind blast and ends up slapping the shi* out of your plastic (no more shiny plastic!) It also succeeded in breaking off a headlight mount from the same slapping that was going on. How do you think I felt when I got to my destination and looked at my $20,000 banshee??? What a joke! Don't waste your money on this crap. You want protection? Only one way to go...buy an enclosed trailer! That's next on my wish list. Now if I could only get my $170 back.

i bought a cover from advanced recreation out of washington.its a great cover really heavy duty (very thick)ties real tight and no rubbing of the paint on my 2000 kodiak ,its the best cover out there but kinda expensive.200.00 but well worth it i think.ive pulled my atv with the cover on over 5000 miles and no tears or anything.at sometimes over 85 mph

This spring I bought 2 travel covers from Advanced Recreation Products 1-888-503-8855. My wife and I hauled our quads from Mass to Florida for vacation. We ordered them and they arrived on time and fit as advertised. They're made of the same rubberized reinforced tarp as used for trailer trucks. They have 4 adjustable straps and they stay put when put on. I used Fulton ATV locks to secure my quads so didn't have to worry about tiedowns getting in the way of the cover. Something you sould think about. An enclosed trailer is the ideal, but a heck of a lot more money. The only damage to our quads was paint wear on the outer edge of the racks.
