Default new quad?

I don't foresee huge output improvements when they switch from 439cc to 449cc but I could be wrong. The TRX is 449cc and it seems to come up a little short compared to the YFZ's 439cc.Who knows...........

ItalianStallion, I think that is the best advice yet . but, which one would that be? and by the way, that picture you have on your pic page isn't me. it is my brother. just thought I would let you know.

Cheap Shot, I take it you rode one before? I guess I'm not really worried about handling because I could always just get a-arms, axle and a new suspension setup. I'm more worried about the engine. I would like it so if I wanted to jet it, put in a k&n filter, and put a new exhaust system on it, it wouldn't give me much trouble. my raptor was a huge pain for me to jet. thanks again for the opinions. it helps a lot.

I ride the trails w/ yfz and a couple of Raptor 660's. For trails, your Raptor is better, I've seen the yfz have to tung his out of the mud more than once...no reverse really makes a difference, it sits so low, but as far as speed and dragging...yfz..hugs the dirt and really takes off. But hey I'm just a girl w/ a Raptor 350..whata I know.....Good luck in your quest.

those guys at suzuki really had a good idea... they waited to do their 450 so tehy could see yamaha's and honda's mistakes and make necisary changes (hopefully)

P.S. I have the red frame/ white plastic...looks awesome clean...terrible w/ mud...a bitch to clean... I've only taken mine out on the mud trails around 3 times and already have stains and scars. My son has the limited 660..can't see any cuts or stains...friends have the blues, no probs...but i don't care..that red frame sold me from the get go and I'll spend ALL DAY SUNDAY cleaning that baby up LOL! Skid plate a must, I could'nt believe the nicks when I stood it up after the first hard ride! Later!

SinJin, thanks for the info. I think I can manage without reverse. the raptor's reverse sucks because of the limiter, so I never use it anyway. yeah, I know what'cha mean about those pain in the @ss white plastics. my rear fenders are white on the raptor and it got a nice deep scratch the very first day I took it out. but I also love that red frame. thanks again, the info really helps. I will probably wait to see what suzuki's 450 looks like before I get a new one.
