Picked up my blue Raptor yesterday

Thats right, I picked it up yesterday evening. I done some trail riding yesterday evening and it seems like an awesome quad working flawless with gobs of power. The stuff that was told about the quad being potentially tippy and stalling in 1st gear is a load of bull. The only thing that I can nit-pick about is the front brakes seeming a little squishy. I may need to have the front brakes bled. I am glad the blue one came in, the looks are awesome!

Hi gary,
Have you tried to ride up some hills with it yet? Because some guy on here said that he had to increase the RPM's up significantly in order to go up the hill smoothly. I was a little concerned about that because I will be doing quite a bit of hill riding. Can you please tell me how you feel about going up hills with the machine when you get a chance.
Thank You

I did'nt get a chance to try any "really" steep hills, but I did ride on some pretty long-steep-rutty trails and did'nt have to rev the motor up to go wherever I wanted. This thing has gobs of low end torque, so you are gonna love yours. The owners manual makes a pretty big deal about breaking the motor in correctly, so I'll have to wait for the higher rpm testing. I wish I had a scanner to post the blue beast.

Hi Gary,
Thank you for your post. Again, I can't wait to pick up my Raptor. Once I get it, I will break it in correctly, just like the 400EX that I sold to purchase this machine. I noticed that you where a previous owner of a 400EX, can you tell me how the Raptor comapres to the 400EX? I apologize for all the questions, I'm just curious, that's all.
Thank You
