Standards. Approximately 12 pounds(on Douglas .125's) for the old 8's, and 13 pounds for the newer 7's. Just for a comparison, I also weighed a set of 20x10x10 Sand Sharks. On Douglas .125's, the weighed in at 19 pounds.

I really dont think swaping just paddles is a good way to compare. I think if you want to compare you will have to regear (for hillshooting anyways) With my old tires 20" 8 paddle haulers I was pulling 3 way hard and was lacking the extra hp to pull 4th. I changed my gearing and was able to pull 4th and gained about 6 bike lengths on comp at dumont in the process. Now I have 22x10x8 10 paddle haulers have yet to test them out, but I am starting with stalk gearing to see how well it pulls the hill in 3rd
