My buddies and I were trying to come up with the ultimate shootout between "super-quads" Shootout takes place on dirt dragstrip, a big dune climb, a desert (wide open timed) run and a MX track just for kicks. Here are the quads we hoped for:

1. Trinity Cheetah Banshee (535cc or bigger, whatever)
2. "Bombusa" (the Hayabusa powered DS)
3. 780 Stroker Raptor
4. 330 Honda 250R (or a larger engine, whatever is the meanest)
5. A big bore Quadzilla (don't know much about this so whatever is the meanest zilla out there)

Any suggestions on other competitors?

 

Not a fair game. When you have unilimited money dumped into a machine it all comes down to how much hp you can sqeeze out of the motor VS how much it weighs. There are 500cc 250r kits making 100hp or near it, there are MONSTER banshee engines making enough to strip their gears after a few runs since you can bolt on cylinders from other machines as well as use billet cases and a big ol crank. Compared to those the 780 raptor is a pit bike. So unless your letting them modify the heck out of the busa motor its a banshee race. Even with the busa modified it wouldnt put my bets on it.

yeah its not fair the shee would kill all of them but the new 500cc 250r kit is starting to make impressive numbers early.

 

The shee would kill them all in the drag and probably the hill but what about the track and the high speed run?

 

The shee would dominate everywhere except for the probaly the track. But with unlimited $$, I'm sure you could put together a suspension that would make the shee good enough to win there to.

 

my question is , why come up with a "shootout" when you cant even test them all out...........

 

It was just an idea. People are always complaning about redundant posts on here and then when somebody makes a different one, even if it is far fetched, they get ripped on for that. I guess all posts should be limited to tech questions and videos.
