raptor hesitation

i was under the impression that you were using the dynojet needles that came with the kit....
i am running the dynojet needles/jets/springs that the kit provided
i am also going to up the pilot to a 25 ,,,too much popping on the deceleration

Ok, my LTE's pop a bunch when I come off the throttle. I'm running a stock 05' Raptor pilot jet. Which direction would I need to go to remove that problem?
Does this sound right?
Needles control midrange
Main Jet control top end
Pilot Jet controls deceleration

Im in st.louis, which is somewhere around 640 feet in elevation. If i remember correctlly, Dyno-Jet gave me two options, under 3000 ft, or above 3000 ft. So,,,I naturally took the under 3000 ft. option. Like i said, im running a basically stock Raptor, with a full FMF exhaust, and i installed a Dyno-Jet stage 2 kit. The only thing i had to do was trim the fins out of the air box snorkel. Havent had to touch the carbs since then. You shouldnt have to mess with the pilots, unless you have some high perf internal mods, in my opinion. Bosch

Bosch, pilots might have to be changed out depending on each quad's setup. Im modded and still run the stock pilots, just 3 turns out. Some people might have the same mods and run in the same area but run different jets. Some of us get lucky with our jetting and then there are people like 05Raptor that have a hard time trying to get everything dialed in. I was lucky enogh that I just installed the dyno jet kit and left the needle where the instructions said to and just jetted up for each mod I made, not every one is that lucky. Good luck 05Raptor!

Well I just got in from working on my raptor for 2 hours. Still has a slight sputter/hesitation in the midrange. It seems to only happen when I hold it about 1/2 throttle for a couple seconds. I'm thinking its still too rich. Tonight I tried 155/160 4th clip, 155/160 3rd clip, 150, 155 3rd clip. It was hard to get an accurate plug reading as I wasnt able to really ride it. i dont really want to drop the mains much more because of the colder weather now being here. I might have to try 148/150 again though and see. Is it safe to try the second clip with 150/155 or will that lean it out too much??? Thanks for all the help and opinions that everyone has given me.
