What makes Sparks, Kenz, Craycraft, and all other builders different??? PORTING
porting is the key!
everyone has the same availability as far as parts go, and what sets one builder or bike apart from the rest is porting or anyone could have the average joe put parts in...
I built my sister's motor after building previous four stroke heads and looking ad my fathers and my head side by side and WHOA there is a difference...

Same parts availabilty?umm for the majority of common parts I suppose.I do know that those who buy alot get better deals( I ran a NAPA store years ago).
I have heard that a die grinder and bits are easier and work better than a hammer and chisel. (j/k)

yeah true sholle, but I prefer the hammer and chizel (they keep you on top of your toes) I have no secrets just make the holes bigger without going too far??? and a hotcam and low compression piston... i don't think i could mess that up??? (actually I guess i could)
i still believe that porting is the key (separates one build from another)
my dad's bike is a je 12.5 piston with porting, stock stock valves and it beats virtually all comp out there other than sparks bieks and a few others...
