Those of you who pick up your new Raptor: Be sure to fill your gas tank and stay close to camp. This thing sucks gas like crazy and goes through a tank before you know it. The pick-up tubes inside the gas tank are very high in the tank, so it appears to have maybe a third of a tank when it shuts down and you have to switch to reserve.

 

Sounds like my old Tecate-4.

 

like my 250r i got a 4.0 gal. ims tank and now it will go about as long as a 400ex till i hit reserve (that is about 3 gal.)

 

the fuel consumpsion is the same as my banshee
i will get a ims tank as soon as it's available.

ps i dont use my raptor or banshee for a "economy" run.
