For your size, I would go with the DS650. The beast will fit you like a glove and I think you will love it!!!

Yamaraptor is right. It all depends on the riding conditions. If you are riding trails or MX, the Raptor is the one. For dunes or wide open areas, you might like the DS better.

As for suspension, 300exSTER, the Raptor has virtually the same suspension travel in inches as a Banshee, but I can tell you that it doesn't mean squat. The geometry is so different, and the length of the a-arms gives the travel more leverage in absorbing the impact. Don't get so caught up in the numbers.

Zoinks, Because of your size, a stock DS probably fits you better than a stock Raptor. HOWEVER, you need to know what types of trails and the conditions you will be riding most often and get the ATV that will be best for the those trails. The DS is wide for woods trails, so you would be dissapointed having to slow down to squease between 2 trees when your buddies zip right threw them no problem. Also, in stock form, the DS is bad in mud. In sand, you'd want razorbacks for the front to get rid of the nasty plowing that the DS has.

Bottom line, the DS appeals to people your size, but if the DS doesn't work well on the trails you will be riding, I would get the Raptor.
