raptor won't start
Tighten the screws to your battery terminals, they come loose. Alos try and hook it up to your car battery but dont start the car just hook it up with the car OFF it will be more than enough juice to start it. DONT try and jump it with a running vehicle, it is too much juice.

If it ran for 20 seconds thats because it ran all the fuel out of the bowls. Here is a simple way to check if you are getting fuel to the bowl. Open up the drain on the bottom of the carb. Its the screw just above the hose on the bottom of the carb. All make sure you have something for them to drain into if there is fuel coming out. Try doing it to both sides. If fuel doesnt flow out of the bowls fairly quick then you arent getting fuel in the bowls. Most likely this is because the needle vavles in the carbs are stuck(closed) not allowing fuel to get into the bowls. Its a pretty simple fix.
As for the funny sounds near the battery clicking. That is your solenoid making noise. That is caused by a loose connection of a battery terminal, corroaded terminal or a dead or dying battery. Or a bad soleniod. More then likely is a low battery or a loose connection. Not a big electrical problem either.
Now that you said it ran for 20 seconds and died out. It probably 95% chance it is a fuel problem and the one I stated above. I doubt its valves and I doubt your electrical system has any problems.

slowwarrior, I want it to be a fuel problem because, like you said, it would be an easy fix. I am pretty familiar with the raptor carbs and whatnot and that wouldn't be hard to fix. But, I don't think it is a fuel problem because the sparkplug has gas on it and both drain screws let gas out when I open them. I think the only reason his quad stalled was because it was around 20 degrees out and he hasn't rode it in a while. I want him to buy a new battery for it just to eliminate that possibility, but he is too damn cheap. I guess if he isn't willing to shell out some cash for a new battery then he really doesn't want to ride that bad. thanks for the suggestions though, and the info about the noises.
