Default Raptor Handleing Fixes ( tires, spacers)

Hey all. When out riding today, i noticed my Raptor didnt quite handle like my Lt250r, i really want to widen it now. First off, im getting wheel spacers ( i dont jump at all, just crusing and dirt roads ) so im looking into UM wheel spacers ( 2.5 Rear, 1.5 front ) that will make it much wider. Now, i have Holeshot XCR's 20X11X9, which i will mount on my stock rims, Stock front tires are 21X7X10, now, when i get my Front Holeshot XCR's, should i get 21" or 22"? they are the same price, i was wondering if it would help my handling at all? or should i stick to the stock size? thanks all. i ride sand, dirt trails, roads ( snow ) thanks!!!

I use wheel spacers on the rear of my 440ex and hit 50 foot 4th gear gaps on a regular basis. Wheel spacers are a good investment. I would get the smaller 21" front tires, they will lower your ride height. Good Luck!!

get rid of the dunlops, they are real tippy. On my 350 if they are a little underpressure you notice how tippy the bike gets, its almost dangerous, the sidewalls rollover alot. I'd go with tires first, they start playing around with everything else. Tires are my next investment. Now for the size, it depends on where you ride, if there is alot of rocks and stuff go with a little bigger tire to give more ground clearence.

I agree, if you ride where there are rocks, go for the ground clearance, but if you can dodge real good the lower the better for handling.....
