It fcks up the ackerman steering geometry. It increases steering effort and the trial forces transmit into the handlebars by adding scrub radius. It causes you to ride with your fists clinched causing fatigue. It will still lift the inside rear wheel in the turns just as much, but now you have to fight it more to point the bike where you want to go unless you ride soley on smooth pavement.
If you want the front wider, the only non redneck way to do it is with +2 arms.
Just widen the back. That = stablility
Just my opinion based on experience. Experiment for yourself if you wish.

This is the way to go. Period.
I have em on my bike and they work GREAT with NO problems, And they are inexpensive.
You will NEVER break one no matter how much you jump. You could even MX with em on.
They have been making these for years and have NOT had a single one break.
