Dude, the thing is not by no means tipsy. I know it's hard to understand being thats it's a whole 2" narrower. And today I will find out about the MX track. I more than expect it to be as good and probably better on the track than my 400ex. I really like that this thing is a little taller also. Dude, I love my 400ex....but's there is no comparison. If you get a chance ride one. You 'll see what I mean.

I got both, read my post. There is no comparison between the 400ex and the Raptor. The Raptor is a 400ex handling bike, but better, with the pull of a DS650.

Thwe Raptor is only 20 lbs heavier harldy a noticeable difference, well think if it this way, if you have to heavlily modify your EX to , which i tend to doubt, beat a stock Raptor then wait till the aftermarket starts making Raptor stuff.

Personally, I think every person that has responded to this topic is pathetic. Go re-read this thread...it sounds like a bunch of grade school kids..."Mine is bigger than yours...or...My dad can beat up your dad..." Instead of posting..."What you think will happen"...How about waiting until a few race, then post WHAT REALLY HAPPENED. There is no reason to start wars between quads. It is just childish.

Please...buy the quad for your tastes, if you dont like it...sell it...if you do like it...enjoy it...thats it!

I'm not try to start a war, it was just driving me nuts!

Eric

The GNCC is ruled by two strokes. The KXF250 prototype and 250R hold the first five positions, and there are some very fast banshee's as well. If you've never rode a 250R you figure out quick it was meant to race, but the Raptor and 400EX are by far the best trail quads. Show me a modified Raptor that can take a modified 250R at Dora, Oklahoma and you'll have my vote. Until then, two stokes will rule MX or GNCC. They're lighter, snappy power, and you can get way more hp. out of a 2 than a 4 with the same amount of money.

One of my good riding buddies has a 440ex with race cam, aftermarket pipe, white bro. rev limiter, and K&N filter and said he raced a stock Raptor at the Badlands in Indiana (featured in Dirt Wheels recently) and lost. He does have a Raptor of his own now, but he waiting to break the Raptor in before racing his.

The narrow frame of the Raptor and the wider a arms are what make the Raptor so stable. and if your still worried about the height, all you will need to do is lower the rear end, not widen it at all..
