[Pics/Vid] Went To Brown Mountain With A Friend.
#1
6:00am We woke up
7:00am We leave...loaded up and carrying two 4 wheelers.
7:15am Bojangles of course
9:00am We arrive at Pisgah Brown Mountain Off-Road Vehicle Area.
We unload, and rode out. There are three types of trails, green - easy, blue - medium, black - hard. Of course, it starts off with green, leading onto heavier terrain.
The area was still pretty uncrowded because of the hour, but quickly became filled with other riders.
Aparently, the green trails were pretty bad, blue was closed, and someone almost died on the black (flipped over bike, broke front wheel, chest and back injuries) they had the county special operations team come up the mountain on 4 wheelers and stretchers and stuff....good times.
On to the pics:

This is my friend riding his 400 Big Bear 4x4 on 26" Gators.

This hill was pretty steep, some ice on the rocks...look/rode worse in person.

"The Mudpit". Ice hid it's 3-4 foot depths...That's my Raptor 660R in the middle. We didnt know it was that deep at the time.

Until i found out the hard way...I flipped his Big Bear, backing out of the hole ...(watch the video below and you will see how i did this, when he goes to hit where my 4 wheeler is he had to back out, there's a rut he bypassed but i didnt...)

Friend next to some other riders, one felt sorry and helped us out. As you can see, my orange 660 is safe next to the woods

It was pretty deep....ruined his starter button, now we have to pullstart but its not too bad.

Right-side-up! Friend walks up to put it in neutral (it was in reverse and we coudlnt pull it out)

Both our ATV's lookin pretty after we hosed them down, of course after they're dry they will look like crap again.

Friend's first run into the water...If you see it dip down when he gets in there, thats what made me turn over when i was backing out....
Question, his starter isnt working right, after that mud flip.
Everything on the handlebars WORKS except for the starter button, the engine pullstars fine but the starter wont work. I took it apart and blew it out with an air compressor and it still didnt fix anything, i tried to get in to the wiring but i coudlnt without cutting (or i wasnt trying hard enough)
Anyone got any pointers on how to fix this? Anywhere other then yamaha where i can get a replacement?
