Most pipes are loud, the Alien is very loud, i heard one on a 400ex and it was louder then my bike. I havn't tried the quiet core, i heard the FMF Q is a quiet pipe so you may want to check that out.

 

Yeah, I had a look at the FMF Q. I am also looking at the White Brothers E2, LRD and HMF pipes. If the HMF isn't extremley loud like the Alien pipe I might still look into it. I used to have a GYT-R pipe and it was loud but not near as loud as the Alien one. So even if the HMF pipe is loud it would probablty quieter than the Alien, thats all I'm looking for.

 

Nice graphics, I'm looking into K & K graphics, how much were yours? By the way I told you to go with Yoshi TRS, it's quite to the ears, and performs awesome, but the money was a factor to me, so look what I got right now, the famous Dr. D. But hey, whatever floats your boat man!

 

The kit cost me $125.00. I bought it from www.ardaptracing.com. And about the pipe, I looked at every dealer in the area for Yoshi pipes and they didn't have any. I wasn't wanting to buy one online because of some previous experiences I have had with spending money there...Anyway, I went to an ATV Expo and they had a full DMC Alien exhaust for $349.00. I had stopped by a shop on my way there and they had the same DMC pipe there but wanted me to pay $475.00 for it. I wasn't going to spend that much on a DMC pipe. Since it was $350 I thought that I'd pick it up and try it out. Anyway, to make a long story short, I love the power it gives me, but not the noise level. I think that I might buy a quiet slip on for when I'm riding around my house and then put the DMC on when I head up to the dunes. Ahhh...too much thinking. I'll just have to wait and see.

 

Blue 450, i talked with the guys at HMF, this is what they said about the DB's on the pipe "The sport series on the 450 will run at about 104-105dbs and with the quiet core installed it will run at about 96-97dbs. Hope this helps."
