Kill switch, disconnected or on? Tried a new plug? ground wires hooked up, from motor to frame?

If youre close to a public library, go to the 629 section in non fiction, thats where the repair manuals are. Most of the common atvs are covered.

If you pull the spark plug from the engine and hold it to the frame is there any spark there at all?
What are you getting for resistance numbers from the coil on the stator and from the ignition coil? It could be too much resistance caused by a bad connection or a weak ground. It might also be the coil itself mounted on the stator plate. Did you have the flywheel off, or the stator during the rebuild?

well i would test to see how many volts and amps i was getting at the spark plug boot and if you arent getting enough youi may have clip a wire when rebuilding it
