hi, i have a 1999 blaster and if seems to be loosing spark at about half throttle. It will idle and is getting plenty of gas but when u get ovwer half throttle it breaks up and boggs down. Also it will not start easily. when we test the spark plug it seems to be fine. cdi box? mag? coil? anyway to test electrical components?

what did ur plug look like when u took it out? after u ran ur bike of course

 

the plug looked fine when i looked at it after i ran it.

 

i have a multimeter and i wanted to know what setting u would put it on to test the output voltage( u amps, m amps, ac/dc) also where would i put the elctrodes on to. how much volts should it put out?

 

Volts, and just poke around. No battery is AC if im not mistaken.

Have you checked your jetting? If it's bogging at half throttle or so it might be a carb problem, not electrical.
