Should i be able to beat my friends 83 mustang 5.0 on the road in a quater mile. I have Big bun exhaust and razr 2 tires, he has exhast and 3.73 gears on his stang swhat do you think?

my Quadzilla vs. my friends 400hp mustang 5.0

 

No quad is going to beat a car in a long race. A quad will be lucky to hit 100, while a car can hit that way to easily in a 1/4 mile.

 

My mustang ran a 13. 8 in the quater and was only doing 92 at the traps were at 5200 feet

The speed of which a car and quad accelerate is completely different. If you were to race 100 feet, the quad would probably win. Unless the quad is geared extremely tall, it will hit top speed at about 1/8th mile or less.

 

ive seen plenty of banshees race the late 80s stock 5.0 mustangs. they are neck and neck if they both get a good takeoff. and like pendejo said, the quad will hit topspeed so soon that any race longer than 1/8th mile is up to topspeed.
