Default Kill Switch on a Raptor

Getting ready to install a Pro Designs kill switch, any do's or don'ts before I do this? I read the instructions and it looks pretty basic but I wanted to see if anyone with a Raptor had any tips from there install. Thanks!

If you've got the one that grounds the + side of the coil, it's a pretty straighforward install.

Default Kill Switch on a Raptor

I just installed a teather kill on my 05 raptor. The directions really sucked..they said to connect the short wire to the coil...ok only thing is both wires are the same lenght....One was white and one black...Now what...Everything I found on line only mentioned when you have a short and long wire...I figured i would just try it both ways and see what happens..Well it worked either way...I found the orange wire going into the coil and while the engine was running i touched the wires to the coil plug and to ground and the unpluged the switch..Guess what? It worked both ways...Ok that was easy enough so i tried it several more times to just make sure it worked the same either way and it did..
Also when i spliced into the orange wire i did not cut the wire in half like the directions said but i stripped off the insulation in the middle of the wire being careful not to cut any of the strands and then soldiered the new wire to it then taped it up....Works great...
Hope this helps.
