Well to make a long story short i got a oil filter ,air filter and little stuff for atv for christmas. New years eve i tell wife i am going to change oil an will be back at 8. took forever to get drain plug off. took oil filter off and did not see which way the filter went back in. took me hours to figure out . i know its sounds stupid. my ?s are this. #1 what size is the drain plug. seemed to be kind of a loose fit ,#2 it still is leaking a little bit of oil. i have tightened the allen bolts yet still a little oil is seeping out. i only had an allen wrench i will need to get a socket allen. # 3 it says in owners manual that i should check the oil flow by putting a towel over cylinder head and open oil gallery bolt till oil seeps out. i could not see oil seep out so that is what the problem was friday night.its a 1995 kodiak 400 4x4. took it out all day sunday and sounded great besides the drips of oil. what are the hints anyone can provide.
